HSA ENEWS
SOMERVILLE CARES VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: If you registered for this committee in the spring, thank you! If not, Somerville Cares is looking for more volunteers. Unfortunately, the group will be busy in the upcoming months and as we all know, many hands make light work. If you have even a little bit of time to spare to make a meal or run errands for Somerville families in need please send an e-mail to Heather Wilke at hpaulywilke@yahoo.com.

LAFF VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: LAFF needs more volunteers! Our COMPLETELY REVAMPED winter time program will run every Wednesday from Jan 14 - Feb 25 this year. Spend recess in your child's classroom on Wednesdays participating in lots of fun activities. Limited planning required. There will be activities to choose from based on a weekly theme or you are free to use your own creativity to plan others. We need volunteers for every classroom! Please contact Indu Rajesh (r_indira@hotmail.com) or Irina Armstrong (armstrong8@gmail.com) for more details.
FREE FUNDRAISERS
There are so many easy ways to support Somerville. Please see below.

Stop & Shop: Every time you shop at Stop & Shop, earn money for Somerville. Register your Stop & Shop Bonus card with the A+ Bonus Bucks program at www.stopandshop.com/aplus. Box Tops: Please continue to clip those Box Tops! Send them in to school in small ziploc bags or taped to collection sheets. A new collection sheet will be sent home each month, and you can always click on the link here or below to print out additional sheets.

Target: Every time you shop at Target or Target.com, earn money for Somerville. Register your Target REDcard for the Take Charge of Education Program http://www.target.com/redcard/main. Designate Somerville as your school, and Target will donate 1% of your REDcard purchases made at Target and Target.com to Somerville.

Amazon: Every time you shop at Amazon, earn money for Somerville. Simply go to smile.amazon.com, enter "Somerville Home & School" as the non-profit you support, and Somerville will earn a small % of your total purchase.

Regent's Cleaners: Support Somerville when you get your clothes dry cleaned at Regent Cleaners (45 Broad Street) by buying credit through the HSA. You get an extra 10% of your credit amount and Somerville gets 20% of the credit amount. Free pickup and delivery at this Organic Cleaner.
